Here is Alesso personally tucking you into bed with a goodnight kiss on a cool summer’s night. On his lips is this peaceful, symphonic remix of indie superstar group Keane. No, it doesn’t need amplified bass/aggressive kick, and no, it doesn’t need cliche, dribble lyrics of “Put your drinks up in da club” to be considered a “banger”. In fact, I’d prefer if this remix wasn’t slutted around clubs: the song has too much innocence and purity in it to be sabotaged by pseudo house fans. The way DJ’s have no boundaries on the songs they remix is what makes the hunt so enjoyable becaue, and allow me to quote my great grandfather Mook Gump when he said, “Remixing is like a box of chocolates; you never know what you’re gonna get.”
